We are all in this together!

The TBID is continuing to operate during the Shelter in Place to provide support to our businesses, employers, and residents. Our ambassadors are providing essential services at a reduced level including: sanitizing public fixtures, removing trash/debris, deterring unwanted or criminal behavior, and checking on the welfare of the unsheltered community. All non-essential business is being conducted remotely and our administrative staff are 100% focused on efforts to support the Telegraph community in response to this crisis.

We are here for you!

New Telegraph Businesses

People's Local Market

The owner of Crafts & Grapes, Anson Abdulla, will reopen the Berkeley bottle shop as a grocery store called People’s Local Market in July 2020 in an effort to provide the Southside neighborhood with healthy, local offerings. Abdulla envisions the market as an indoor version of the Berkeley farmers market, but open every day and with shelves stocked with locally produced broths, soups and snacks, and dairy from nearby farms.

2552 Telegraph Avenue

Telegraph Berkeley is a community of 10,000 on the edge of the UC Berkeley campus. We are merchants, street vendors, residents, students, visitors, walkers, bicyclists, and drivers. We are people who sleep, eat, talk, pray, read and make music.
