About Us

The Telegraph Property and Business Improvement District (TBID) is a benefit assessment district on the southern edge of UC Berkeley Campus established in 1998. For nearly three decades it has implemented a highly successful dedicated street cleaning, safety, hospitality, placemaking and district marketing services to support the vibrant community along the iconic Telegraph promenade.

  • Cleaning: Spills, graffiti, dumping, and public-area maintenance issues.
  • Hospitality: Behavioral incidents, conflict resolution, mental health crises and social outreach.
  • Reporting: Neighborhood concerns, public safety, construction impacts, and non-emergency advice.
